The Firs Hotel in Hitchin is a well established hotel providing comfortable and affordable bed and breakfast accommodation which is great value. You will receive a personal service in an informal relaxed enviornment.
Our approach is flexibility wherever possible
The hotel has had three extensions and numerous refurbishments. The main priority being comfort and affordable prices. We listen to our guests and try to cater for their needs.

2 Star hotel rating
The hotel has been independantly assessed for service and quality and has gained a two star hotel rating with VisitBritain ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service are maintained.
Online booking or telephone
Reservations can be made by telephone or by booking online and providing credit card details. Check-in is from 1.00 pm and check-out is at 11.00 am.
Early Check-in
Early check-in may be possible but we would not be able to confirm this until the day of arrival. Guests wishing to check-in before 1.00 pm are advised to arrive at the hotel and every effort will be made to make bedrooms available as soon as possible. In order to guarantee an early check-in, the room needs to be booked the night before.
Late arrivals
If guests are arriving after 10.00 pm, we can arrange a late check-in using our night service, providing arrangements have been made with the hotel prior to arrival.
